Te Whānau O Waipareira Trust is an Urban Maori Authority and was founded on the strength of its social, educational, health, economic and spiritual indigenous self determination agenda. They have been providing services to the wider Waitakere community for over 30 years with a strong focus on supporting whānau and community transformation.

Whānau Ora is a culturally-based, and whānau-centred approach to wellbeing focused on whānau (family group) as a whole, as the decision-makers who determine their goals and aspirations.
Building on the strengths and capabilities of whānau and wrapping the necessary services and support around them to get better outcomes and create positive changes. In areas such as health, education, housing, employment, improved standards of living and cultural identity.
Whānau are supported to fully realise the confidence, mana and the belief in self, family and community.
Hāpai Te Hauora
Hāpai aims to increase opportunities for the communities we serve to enjoy good health and to be sustained by healthy environments. We do this by providing a strategic focus that is underpinned by evidence based research for the advancement of health and well-being for all. We work both regionally and nationally to address health inequities and provide strategic solutions for long term outcomes.
