Exploring Indigenous Health Initiatives: Whānau Tahi's Field Trip to AYP Lands
At Whānau Tahi, we believe in the power of firsthand experiences to inspire innovation and drive positive change. Recently, our General Manager of Customer Success embarked on an incredible field trip to the AYP Lands in South Australia. The primary purpose was to visit the Nganampa Health Clinics, gaining valuable insights into true remote health delivery and wrap-around services within indigenous communities.
The journey was nothing short of amazing, offering our team a unique opportunity to witness the remarkable work being done by Nganampa Health Clinics. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Nganampa team and the people who graciously shared their stunning lands with us over the course of a few days.
Special thanks go to John Singer and Alice Fleming for their impeccable organization, unwavering support, and expert guidance throughout our visit. Their dedication ensured that our field trip was not only educational but also deeply impactful.
We were honored to share this experience with esteemed companions, John Mamea-Wilson, CEO of Seki, and Jeremy, GM of Medtech. As the saying goes, "Teamwork makes the dream work," and our collective exploration of indigenous health initiatives exemplified the strength of collaboration.
This field trip was more than just a visit; it was an immersion into the heart of remote health delivery, fostering a greater understanding of the challenges and successes experienced by indigenous communities.
